Matthew Zadro

Matthew Zadro began their legal career as a Summer Student at Gowling WLG Canada in 2006. Matthew then became an Articling Student and later an Associate Legal Counsel at the same firm before joining the Department of Justice Canada in 2010. At the Department of Justice, they held various roles, including Legal Counsel, Manager and Senior Legal Counsel for RCMP Legal Services, Director and General Counsel for the Commercial Law Section, and currently serves as the Director and General Counsel for Health Legal Services.

Matthew Zadro completed their Bachelor of Commerce in Business/Managerial Economics at the University of Guelph from 1999 to 2003. Matthew then pursued a Master of Arts in Economics at the same institution from 2003 to 2004. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Western University from 2004 to 2007. In 2019, they also completed the Communications and Executive Presence Program at The Ivey Academy - Executive Education - Ivey Business School.
