Jessica Whiteley

Jessica Whiteley is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in media and public relations within government settings. Currently serving as the Director of Communications, Media and Public Relations at the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Tasmania since June 2021, Jessica previously held the role of Senior Media Adviser and Media Adviser in the Office of the Premier under The Hon. Jeremy Rockliff MP and The Hon. Peter Gutwein MP, respectively. Prior to this, Jessica worked as an Electorate Officer focused on Media and Communications for various members of Parliament in Victoria and Australia, where responsibilities included managing electorate communications and developing media strategies. Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies (Public Relations) from Swinburne University of Technology and has also held managerial positions in the private sector.
