Ariana Palomo serves as the Managing Editor, Head of Section, and Associate Editor at The Brown Journal of World Affairs since January 2022. Additionally, Ariana works as a Student Immigration Advocate at the Student Clinic for Immigrant Justice, a role held since September 2022. With experience as a Program Leader and Student Mentor at the National Hispanic Institute since January 2018, Ariana also completed an internship in the office of Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson with the U.S. House of Representatives in the summer of 2022. Prior experience includes involvement with the Brown University ACLU as an Incarcerated Rights Campaign Member from September 2021 to June 2022, and a legal internship at SAENZ-RODRIGUEZ & ASSOCIATES, P.C. from August 2019 to January 2022. As a National College Match Scholar with QuestBridge from June 2020 to December 2021, Ariana also contributed as a Board Member for the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas and engaged in canvassing with Mi Familia Vota. Education includes attendance at Brown University since September 2021 and McKinney High School, from which graduation occurred in 2021.
