Bijan Sabet

Bijan Sabet currently serves as the United States Ambassador to the Czech Republic since December 2022. Prior to this role, Sabet was a member of the Board of Trustees at Boston College and St. Mark's School from June 2021 to December 2022. Sabet also held the title of General Partner at Spark Capital, a multi-stage venture capital firm, from July 2005 to December 2022. Additional experience includes serving on the Board of Trustees at Beaver Country Day School, Inc. until November 2022 and contributing to the National Finance Committee for Biden for President from May 2019 to November 2020. Sabet's board memberships include significant influence at Trello, Tumblr, OMGPOP, and Twitter, with notable achievements such as leading the Series A round for Trello and participating in Twitter's IPO. Education was completed at Boston College between 1987 and 1991.
