Brad A. Galvan has extensive experience in counter-terrorism and law enforcement, currently serving as a Counter Terrorism Advisor for the U.S. Department of State since 2018. Prior to this role, Galvan dedicated nearly three decades to the U.S. Department of Justice, including leadership positions as Resident Agent in Charge of the San Diego Field Office and as a Supervisory Special Agent with the ATF, where responsibilities included managing complex investigations and international training efforts. Galvan also contributed to the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force and led tactical operations as a Tactical Commander with the Special Response Team. With a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from UCLA, Galvan's career highlights include expertise in explosives investigations and counter-narcotics operations across various law enforcement agencies.
