Cristina Flores

Cristina Flores is an experienced professional with a strong background in public affairs and outreach. Currently serving as the Director of Scheduling and Advance at the U.S. Department of Education since May 2021, Cristina previously held positions at Facebook focusing on Politics & Government Outreach and was a Public Affairs Officer at the National Commission on Military, National, and Public Service. Cristina's extensive experience includes roles at the National Women's Business Council and The White House, where involvement spanned areas such as public affairs, media relations, and event advancement. Cristina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology Honors from The University of Texas at Austin and participated in a study abroad program at UERJ in 2012.
