David McFarland

David McFarland possesses extensive experience in public service, currently serving as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary and Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State since March 2002. Previous roles include a Fellowship at the United States Senate from August 2015 to August 2016, and a position as a Staffer at the U.S. House of Representatives from August 1995 to March 2002. David also contributed as a Volunteer with the Peace Corps focusing on small business development from June 1997 to August 1999, and worked as an Assistant in personal offices at the Texas House of Representatives from January 1991 to January 1995. David holds a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin and a MS in National Security Strategy from the National War College.
