Elizabeth Winter has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Elizabeth is currently serving as the Communications Team Lead for the Overseas Security Advisory Council at the U.S. Department of State since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Digital Manager in Production Technology and Operations at Smithsonian Channel from June 2020 to October 2020. Elizabeth also had a long tenure at ABC News starting in September 2011, where they worked as a Producer in various bureaus and programs such as "This Week," "Good Morning America," and "20/20" until October 2020. From February 2018 to October 2019, they served as a Project Manager and Creative at the International Monetary Fund, collaborating with senior economists and producing videos and written content. Elizabeth also worked as the Interim Director of Communications at Women for Women International from July 2018 to March 2019. Their other notable experiences include being a Systems Administrator and Editor at Monterey Bay Aquarium, Head Editor and Compositor at Titmouse, and working as a Freelance Writer and Editor in advertising. Elizabeth has also held positions as Head of Post Production at Sea Studios and Coordinator and Editor at Klasky Csupo.

Elizabeth Winter has a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Barnard College.
