Evan Binkley

Evan Binkley has a diverse professional background in art, culture, and education, currently serving in the Art in Embassies program at the U.S. Department of State since 2022. Experience includes editorial work at Genius since 2018, and a role with the Bureau for Africa at USAID in 2020. Previous positions at the University of Michigan included Research Assistant for African Art After Independence, Circulation Assistant at the Institute for the Humanities, and Program Assistant at the University of Michigan Museum of Art. Other relevant experience encompasses a role with the Smithsonian American Art Museum's Education Department and curatorial work at the Ghana National Museum under the Smithsonian Institution.
