Justin Davis

Justin Davis is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Senior Advisor and Director for Political Affairs and Analysis at the U.S. Department of State since August 2022. Previously, as the Acting Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru, Justin led a staff of 1,400 employees and coordinated policy across 21 agencies. With extensive experience dating back to 2009, including roles as Chief of Staff for the Bureau of Middle East and North Africa and Senior Watch Officer specializing in operations and crisis management, Justin has demonstrated expertise in decision-making during crises and in mentoring diplomats. Educational credentials include an Advanced Certificate in Negotiations from Harvard University and degrees from Cornell University and Georgetown University in Government and International Affairs.
