Justin Tabor is currently serving as a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State since September 2024. As President of the Peace Corps Alumni Foundation for Philippine Development since April 2017, Justin leads fundraising initiatives that provide scholarships and grants in the Philippines, overseeing a five-year grant program totaling $10,000 aimed at human development projects. With prior experience as a Program Officer at the U.S. Department of Education, Justin supported the REAP grant program, distributing $200 million to small, rural schools across the United States. Justin also founded Bongga Philippines, an NGO focused on establishing an LGBT+ community center. Previous roles include Placement and Assessment Specialist and Volunteer Teacher with the Peace Corps, as well as teaching music at the Pre-K through 12 levels in various educational institutions. Justin holds a Master’s Degree in Development Management from American University, a Master of Arts in Teaching in Music Education, and a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
