Malik Khalid Mehmood

Malik Khalid Mehmood, PhD Mir, serves as a Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of State since October 2000 and has extensive experience as Chief Technical (International) Adviser for organizations including the World Bank, USAID, EU, DFID, UNDP, and ADB since March 1990. Malik holds a Doctor of Philosophy in International/Global Studies, obtained in December 1999, along with a Master's degree in the same field, completed in April 1989, both from The George Washington University. Additionally, Malik completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in International/Global Studies at The George Washington University between July 2000 and June 2020.
