Mariah Hays

Mariah Hays currently serves as a Foreign Service Specialist at the U.S. Department of State since April 2024. Prior to this role, Mariah worked as a Consultant for the Indian Country team at Pyramid Communications from March 2023 to April 2024 and provided security cooperation policy support at the Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs, from November 2019 to March 2023. Mariah's early experience includes an internship in the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation at the U.S. Department of State in 2018, a Research Associate position at the Partnership for Global Security, and internships at The Stimson Center and the United States Senate. Mariah's educational background includes a Master's degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from the University of Washington.
