Mary-Katherine Ream

Mary-Katherine Ream is a seasoned professional in public diplomacy with extensive experience at the U.S. Department of State, currently serving as an Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer since July 2017. After completing two years of training in Egyptian Arabic, Mary-Katherine has contributed to various roles, including Assistant Public Affairs Officer and Consular Officer. Prior to this, from January 2012 to September 2016, Mary-Katherine was an Information Outreach Specialist, managing digital communications for the Foreign Press Center, and worked as a Content Strategist, Writer-Editor, and Regional Coordinating Officer. Mary-Katherine holds two master's degrees in Public Relations and International Relations from Syracuse University and a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University.
