Michella Otmar

Michella Otmar, FNP, MPH, is an experienced medical provider currently serving at the U.S. Department of State since July 2022. Prior to this role, Otmar worked as an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center from October 2021 to July 2022, and at the University of California, Davis from March 2017 to April 2021. Additional experience includes positions at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento Native American Health Center, Channel Islands Family Practice and Urgent Care, and the Ihangane Project, amongst others. Otmar holds a Master of Public Health from UCLA and a Master of Science in Nursing from UCLA, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Shenandoah University and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from James Madison University.
