Yen Hoang

Yen Hoang is a seasoned legal professional with significant experience in various government and consulting roles. Currently serving as a Global Employment Advisor at the U.S. Department of State since August 2022, Yen previously held the position of Legal Counsel at Bioeconomy from May 2022 to May 2023. From November 2013 to January 2022, Yen was Associate Chief Counsel for Litigation at the FDA Office of the Chief Counsel, and served as an Attorney Advisor at the US EPA from September 2011 to September 2013. Yen co-founded IvyReady College Application Consulting and worked as a Summer Associate at Best Best & Krieger LLP. Earlier, Yen contributed as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant at Cornell University and as a Research Associate at the Environmental Law Institute. Yen began a career in research as a Research Assistant at the Carnegie Institution Plant Biology Department. Academic credentials include a JD from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Stanford University.
