Janine Tobias

Janine Tobias currently serves as the National Enforcement Program Manager (Chief, Safety Enforcement Division) at the U.S. Department of the Interior since August 2020, overseeing the development and implementation of enforcement programs and national policies for safety and environmental regulations on the Outer Continental Shelf. Previously, Janine held the role of Acting National Enforcement Program Manager at the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement from June 2019 to August 2020, focusing on program coordination and prioritization. Janine's extensive experience includes positions as a Conflict Management Officer and Special Assistant within the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement and the Minerals Management Service, where duties encompassed conflict resolution, program management, and internal communications. An accomplished educational background includes degrees from Rutgers University in Public Administration and International Environmental Studies, as well as a certification in Legislative Affairs from Georgetown University.
