Ryan Z. Taylor

Ryan Z. Taylor has extensive experience in geology and program management, currently serving as a Program Lead within the Division of Minerals Evaluation at the U.S. Department of the Interior since September 2013. In this role, Ryan oversees mineral evaluations and market analyses to determine fair market values for mineral commodities. Prior experience includes ownership of Mapfacts, where Ryan provided GIS services and project recommendations, and a decade at the U.S. Forest Service, where Ryan led environmental analyses and managed interdisciplinary teams. Additional roles included GIS Specialist at Rare Earth Science, LLC, and Geologist with the National Park Service, with a focus on cataloging abandoned mine lands. Ryan holds a Master's degree in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
