Tracey Moriarty is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communication within government agencies. Currently serving as the Communications Director for the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management at the U.S. Department of the Interior since May 2025, Tracey previously held various leadership roles at BOEM from 2012 to 2025, including Office Director and Deputy Chief of Media Relations, overseeing critical communication initiatives that supported the agency's mission related to offshore energy. Prior experience includes directing strategic communications for the United States Navy and providing project management at Booz Allen Hamilton. Tracey holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science/Marine Affairs from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in History from Roanoke College.
