Yolandi Schoeman

Yolandi Schoeman, PhD, serves as a Senior Lecturer in Ecological Engineering at the University of the Free State, focusing on advancing the field through research, student training, and global collaboration. With a robust academic background, including two PhDs in Environmental Management and Economic and Management Sciences, Yolandi has founded several initiatives, including the Ecological Engineering Institute of Africa and The Wild Bank, while also contributing as a Specialized Writer for WRC South Africa and Co-Founder of the International Chartered Institution for Ecological Engineering. Yolandi's experience includes roles at Enterprises University of Pretoria and participation on the Steering Committee for the Department of Water and Sanitation in South Africa, reinforcing a commitment to ecological innovation and sustainability.
