Katherine Hogan

Katherine Hogan is an experienced English educator, currently serving as an English Teacher at DePaul College Prep since August 2019 and as an Instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago since May 2019. Previous roles include Digital Literacy Summer Teacher at Oak Park & River Forest High School and English Teacher & Department Chair at Evergreen Park Community High School from August 2016 to July 2019. Hogan also has extensive experience in Chicago Public Schools, where roles included English Teacher and English Department Chair from August 2001 to August 2016. Additional teaching experience includes time as an Instructor at DePaul University and at The Field Museum, where programming for teachers was developed. Katherine Hogan holds a Master’s in Education with a specialization in Youth Development from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor’s in English with minors in Education and Women’s Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
