Elizabeth Canning

Elizabeth Canning currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff at DePaul University since January 2024. Prior to this role, Elizabeth was involved in various capacities at Boston College from February 2021 to January 2024, including Assistant Director for Athletics Leadership Giving and Assistant Director for Athletics Annual Giving, as well as Development Assistant in Athletic Advancement. Elizabeth's experience in development began at the University of Michigan as a Development Associate in the Department of Athletics from 2019 to February 2021. Earlier roles include a Development Intern with the Boston College Athletic Department and several lifeguarding positions, showcasing a commitment to safety and customer service. Elizabeth holds a Master of Science in Sports Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and American Studies from Boston College.
