John Milbauer

John Milbauer currently serves as Dean at DePaul University since July 2023. Prior to this role, John held the position of Co-Chair for the Piano Program at Chautauqua Institution from June 2002 to July 2023, where collaboration with Co-Chair Nicola Melville helped revitalize the program into a leading festival and fostered a network of interdependent relationships. Additionally, John was Professor Emeritus of Piano at the University of Arizona from August 2021 to June 2023, contributing significantly to various committees, including as Chair of the UA Academic Personnel Policy Committee and Vice Chair of the University Committee of Eleven. John's educational background includes a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, a Doctor of Music from Manhattan School of Music, and advanced degrees from prestigious institutions such as The Juilliard School and the Eastman School of Music.
