Katy Weseman

Katy Weseman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in higher education and community services. Currently serving at DePaul University since July 2012 in multiple roles including Assessment and Evaluation Specialist, Associate Director of New Student Programs, and LGBTQA Student Services Coordinator, Katy has demonstrated a commitment to student support and program development. Previously, Katy owned Ridman's Coffee from October 2017 to December 2022 and worked as a Crossfit Trainer at Hardware Strength and Conditioning from June 2014 to December 2021. With prior roles at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Northwestern University, Katy has a strong background in LGBT resource management and gender studies. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction from DePaul University, a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's and Gender Studies from Carleton College. Additionally, Katy has a certificate from the School for International Training focused on Sexuality, Gender, and Identity in the Netherlands.
