Natalie Covello

Natalie Covello is a seasoned professional in enterprise risk management and internal auditing, currently serving as the Manager of Enterprise Risk Management at DePaul University since June 2022. Prior to this role, Natalie held significant positions including Chair and Vice Chair at the Illinois State Internal Audit Advisory Board until June 2022, and Chief Internal Auditor at Chicago State University from September 2019 to June 2022. Additionally, Natalie was involved with the IIA Chicago Chapter as the Government Advisory Committee Chair from June 2019 to May 2022. Natalie's earlier experience includes serving as Chief Internal Auditor at Illinois DCEO and as Assistant Director, Internal Auditor, and Senior Internal Auditor at the Illinois Housing Development Authority. Natalie began career training as an Associate Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers between 2006 and 2008. Natalie holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois Chicago, completed in 2006 and 2005, respectively.
