Jennifer Messner

Jennifer Messner is a skilled professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and grant administration. Currently serving as the Director of Grants and Strategic Partnerships at Depaul USA since August 2023, Jennifer previously held key leadership roles, including Vice President of Community Investments at United Way of the Coastal Empire, where responsibilities included supervising grant processes for a $3.64 million community funding initiative. Jennifer's background also encompasses donor relations coordination at Hospice Savannah, Inc., where over $200,000 in grants were secured, and administrative support at the Savannah Book Festival. Earlier in their career, Jennifer worked with United Way of Stamford and Greenwich, progressing through various roles from Communications Associate to Director of Community Planning and Agency Relations. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Human Services Administration from Antioch University New England and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Mount Holyoke College.
