Kay Curling

Kay Curling has over 30 years of experience in various leadership roles in the field of human resources. Kay is currently the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Deployed Resources since November 2019. Prior to this, they were the Managing Partner at Curling & Associates, Inc. from May 2018. Kay also served as the Chief People Officer at Veritas Collaborative, LLC from July 2018 to October 2019. Before that, they were the Founding Chairman at WashingtonExec from January 2012 to May 2018. Kay Curling also held the position of Chief HR Officer at Salient CRGT from July 2010 to May 2018. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at the Virginia Board of Health from September 2010 to June 2014. Before this, they were the Vice President of Human Resources at Serco from January 2008 to July 2010 and at SI International from May 2008 to December 2008. Kay started their career at SRA International in 1988, where they held various roles including Director of Employee Benefit, Community Service, and Corporate Philanthropy. Kay also briefly served as the Acting Director of Human Resources. Kay Curling has a strong background in implementing effective HR strategies, employee benefits, organizational excellence, and mergers and acquisitions.

Kay Curling attended Virginia Tech from 1974 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education. Prior to their college education, they attended Thomas Jefferson High School. In terms of additional certifications, Kay received the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in January 2016, and the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in December 2010.
