Lauren Penticost has a diverse work experience in product management and e-commerce. Lauren started their career in 2007 with a work placement at F Hinds, where they gained experience in buying, visual merchandising, and online marketing. Lauren then joined Best Buy UK in 2009 as an Online Content Executive, where they were responsible for managing website content and coordinating site maintenance. In 2011, Lauren moved to Best Buy as part of the start-up team, taking on the role of Online Promotions and User Experience. In this role, they managed a team and was responsible for managing multiple web projects and ensuring smooth site deployments.
Lauren's next role was at Tesco, where they worked as a Product Manager and later as the Lead Mobile Product Manager for UK & International Grocery. In these roles, they developed customer-centric multi-channel products and created strategic visions and roadmaps for app products. Lauren worked closely with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve product performance.
Following their time at Tesco, Lauren joined Marks and Spencer as a Product Manager. Lauren was responsible for leading the product development for online food delivery and defining the personalization product vision for M&S. Lauren also developed recommendation models and strategies to enhance the customer experience.
In 2019, Lauren joined New Look as a Product Lead, where they continued to work on product development. Currently, they are working as the Head of Product at Depop, where they oversee product development and strategy.

Lauren Penticost obtained a 2:1 BAHons degree in Retail Management from Bournemouth University, attending from 2005 to 2009.
