Oleksandr Gorbyk

Oleksandr Gorbyk is an experienced Scala Developer currently working at Depop since February 2021, contributing to various projects including a stateful Kafka stream application, new discount types, auto-send offers, and dispute management. Prior experience includes roles at bonify Germany, Qvantel, Sisense, Cogniance, and Samsung Electronics Ukraine Company, where skills were applied in C++, Java, and Scala across diverse projects involving image processing, rendering for AutoCAD files, and cross-platform SDK development. Oleksandr holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'.
