Jim Giacobazzi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Jim started their career at Lockheed Martin, where they provided program administration and management support. Jim then moved on to Pacific Intertrade, where they worked as a CFO and handled financial and business management functions for an international trading company. Jim also worked at KPG, Inc. as a Business Manager and Controller, where they participated in the development of various real estate projects.
In 2000, Jim joined Noosa Corporation as the Director of Finance and Operations, managing the finance and operations of a media asset company. Jim later became the President and CFO of InfraredVision Technology Corp., leading a startup infrared sensor manufacturing company through technology transfer and product development.
Jim then worked at L3 Technologies as the Division President and CFO, integrating an infrared sensor manufacturing company into a larger corporation. Jim also developed the infrastructure for Sarbanes Oxley controls, environmental/health & safety, and quality programs.
Jim's next role was at LumaSense Technologies, Inc., where they served as the Division Manager and Senior Director of Corporate Development. Jim managed an infrared sensor semiconductor manufacturing division and developed high-temperature IR imaging systems for various industries.
Prior to their current role, Jim worked at PlusPoint Consulting Inc. as a Consulting CFO. Jim provided financial advisory services to clients.
Currently, Jim is the President of Deposition Sciences Inc., a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation. The company provides optical and magnetic coating solutions for aerospace, commercial, and military customers.
Jim Giacobazzi attended the University of Denver from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. In 1986 and 1987, they pursued an extension program in International Trade at UCLA. In 2007, Jim attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for a program called "Reinventing Your Business Strategy."
