Lucas Somma

Lucas Somma, LPC, currently serves as a Postgraduate Fellow and Psychotherapist at Depth Counseling since July 2023. Previously, Lucas worked as a Mental Health Clinician at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, where services focused on low-income populations utilizing various therapeutic approaches. Additional experience includes roles as a Program Therapist at Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center, facilitating therapeutic groups, and a Psychotherapy Intern at Pneuma Therapeutic Services, providing counseling under supervision. Lucas has also supported immigrant and refugee communities as an Education & Employment Coach at Chinese Mutual Aid Association and gained nonprofit experience at Reconciling Ministries Network. Educational credentials include a Master of Theological Studies from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychoanalysis from the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Park University.
