Claire Bellman

Claire Bellman has extensive experience in educational leadership and curriculum development, currently serving as Deputy Head Pastoral and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Derby High School since September 2018. Additionally, Claire has held various roles at Ofqual as a Subject Expert in Drama and English Language & Literature since September 2013. Contributions to governance include serving as a Co-opted Governor at Walton on Trent Primary School from January 2021 to May 2023. Previous positions include Head of English and Drama at The Abbey School, visiting examiner at Pearson, and teaching roles at Maiden Erlegh School and Wymondham College. Claire's academic credentials include an MA from the University of Oxford, a PGCE from the University of Cambridge, and a BA (Hons) from the University of Oxford.
