Enrique Muñoz Ballester

Enrique Muñoz Ballester has a diverse range of experience in the field of data science and research. Enrique most recently served as the Head of Data Science at DerbySoft, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they held positions as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at the same company. Before joining DerbySoft, Enrique worked at BitMetrics, where they served as the Machine Vision Lead - Data Scientist, focusing on designing and developing deep learning and machine vision solutions. Enrique also gained experience as a Data Scientist and Researcher at Universitá degli Studi di Milano, where they worked on projects related to biometrics, industrial problems, and environmental issues. Furthermore, Enrique worked as a Data Scientist and Researcher at the European Centre for Soft Computing, specializing in cooperative strategies and machine learning. Enrique began their career as a Research Assistant at the Computer Science Faculty, University of Murcia, where they focused on adaptive and cooperative methods in solving complex optimization problems.

Enrique Muñoz Ballester completed their education in a chronological manner. Enrique began by earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Murcia, which they pursued from 2001 to 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Technologies and Advanced Telematics from the same university, completing it in the academic year 2006-2007. Building upon this foundation, Enrique pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, from the University of Murcia, which they accomplished between 2007 and 2010.
