Karen Contos

Karen Contos currently serves as Vice President of Marketing at DerbySoft, beginning in September 2023. Previously, Contos was Vice President of Communications at Pantheon Platform from April 2021 to September 2023, where efforts centered on category creation for WebOps and repositioning the company to enhance brand awareness and lead generation. Prior experience includes the role of Vice President of Corporate Communications & Brand at Plex Systems, Inc., where Contos led comprehensive branding and messaging initiatives to position the company as a leader in smart manufacturing. Contos also held senior marketing positions at PROS, significantly impacting global branding and marketing strategies for AI-powered solutions, and served as Lead Communications Consultant at BMC Software, supporting corporate executives in communication strategies. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Spanish/Hispanic Literature from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Tulane University.
