Proud to be a Partner, Caroline Miller, Esq. heads the Miami Office of The Derek Smith Law Group, PLLC and co-manages the firm’s multi-state practice.

Employment Law Attorney, Caroline Miller, obtained her Juris Doctorate with Honors from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University and her Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University. Caroline also received Honors recognition for her Pro Bono work. Caroline previously worked for the Honorable Judge Marlene Lachman in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Caroline has obtained millions of dollars for her clients and is known to be extremely driven and competitive. She attributes her competitive drive to her many years of playing competitive sports. Caroline pitched for Brandeis University’s NCAA softball team, where she remains the holder of numerous University records. Following college, Caroline utilized her leadership skills, serving as President of her law school’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society.

Caroline applies her competitive drive to each of her cases. Each of her cases is a competition that she feels the need to win, whether by a favorable settlement or by a large jury verdict. Caroline has extensive experience in the Courtroom as well as in arbitrations and confidential meditations.
