Christian Robles

Christian Robles, MSc, PE, PMP, currently serves as the Director of Solar Operations at Deriva Energy since October 2023. Prior to this role, Christian held multiple positions at Duke Energy Corporation from August 2014 to May 2024, including Director of Commercial Renewables Operations and Senior Manager for both Transmission Line Engineering and Substation Engineering in Florida, where Christian managed large teams and oversaw engineering departments. Christian also worked as the Lead Substation Standard Engineer, developing enterprise substation standards. Earlier in the career at Entergy, Christian served as the Lead Substation Design Engineer and began the professional journey as an Engineer Intern at Empresa Electrica del Ecuador. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Science and Technology Leadership from Brown University, a Certificate in Power Systems from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Engineering Management along with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans.
