Gavin Humphrey

Gavin Humphrey, CPA, currently serves as the Associate Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and Finance Transformation at Deriva Energy since January 2024. Previously, Gavin was the FP&A Manager at Duke Energy Corporation from December 2019 to December 2023, and before that, held the position of Accounting Manager at NextEra Energy, Inc. between February 2018 and December 2019, responsible for financial operations of renewable energy portfolios. Gavin's career began at Deloitte, where the role of Manager involved developing a risk model for financial positions. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Accounting from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a B.A. in Economics, Spanish, and International Studies from North Carolina State University, supplemented by a study abroad program in Economics at Universitat de Barcelona.
