Mark Collett

Mark Collett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in learning and development, mediation, and social work. Currently serving as the Head of Learning and Development at Derivco since May 2016, Mark has previously held roles as Team Lead and Talent Development Specialist within the same organization. Prior experience includes managing director of The Mediation Company, where Mark focused on training mediators and providing dispute resolution services, and operating a private practice offering consultancy and mediation services. Mark's early career included roles as Operations Manager and Recruitment Consultant at EM Recruitment, where responsibilities spanned business reorganization, service improvement, and recruitment in allied health fields. Mark holds a Master's degree in Social Work with a specialization in Mediation and Dispute Resolution from Stellenbosch University, along with several other degrees in human resource and social sciences. Additionally, Mark has a background in humanitarian work as a Franciscan Friar with a focus on empowering the marginalized.
