Julie Tylman has had a varied career in the media, education, and real estate industries. In 1998, they began their career as the Director of New Media for both KREM TV and WTSP-TV. In 2000, they joined Pearson North America (Addison Wesley) as a Publishing Sales Representative, where they were a Top Performer in 2001 and exceeded sales targets, growing their territory by 30% in Year 1 and 38% in Year 2. In 2003, they took on the role of Commercial Real Estate Appraiser at Cassinelli Jackson, LLC. In 2005, they joined Pearson as the Director of Learning and Development, where they originated and delivered the first scalable, comprehensive onboarding and first-year development curriculum for SAAS C-suite enterprise sales and account management teams targeting the higher education market. Julie also developed innovative new custom Salesforce CRM and Pearson Digital Platform Product Certification Training (eLearning and live virtual) for 250 higher education faculty-focused sales reps. In addition, they demonstrated training expertise in leadership development, DE&I, first-year onboarding, negotiation, sales coaching, presentation skills, and job competency development. In 2022, they joined Derivita as the Partner Success Manager, where they created homework assignments, quizzes, and exams in minutes and provided students with immediate, meaningful feedback.

Julie Tylman has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature, General from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Western Michigan University. Julie also holds a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from eCornell, obtained in March 2021. Additionally, they are a Core Strengths: Results Through Relationships Certified Facilitator, a Crucial Conversations Certified Trainer, and a Leading at the Speed of Trust Certified Trainer.
