Eduardo Godoy Tapia currently serves as a Geólogo at Derk Ingeniería, Geología y Servicios since April 2022. Prior to this role, Eduardo completed a thesis project at Unidad de Medio Ambiente _CPA, focusing on the relationship between brine extraction and freshwater availability in the Soncor Lagoon System of the Salar de Atacama, Region de Antofagasta, Chile. Additionally, during an internship at the same organization, Eduardo developed a comprehensive database that included hydric availability, chemical quality parameters, and climatic variables for the Salar de Atacama region. Eduardo is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Geology/Earth Sciences at Universidad Católica del Norte, with studies ongoing since September 2021.
