Amer Abufadel

Amer Abufadel is the Co-Founder and CTO of Derq, a startup that uses artificial intelligence to make roads smarter and safer. Amer has over fifteen years of experience in engineering and technology. Amer has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Amer has worked as a research intern at Siemens Corporate Research, a graduate research assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a senior design engineer at Khoury Group. In 2010, Amer founded Argus Homecare Monitor, a medical communication, monitoring, and reporting tool for home care. In 2015, Amer joined Derq as its Co-Founder and CTO.
