Yong Tan

Yong Tan is a seasoned Structural Engineer and Senior Associate at DES, with over 20 years of extensive experience in corporate, mixed-use, and life science projects. Notable contributions include the development of major corporate campuses such as Moffett Towers and Moffett Gateway in Sunnyvale, CA, along with mixed-use buildings like 265 Lytton Avenue in Palo Alto. Previous positions include Senior Project Engineer at DeSimone Consulting Engineering and LSW Consulting Engineers in Singapore. Yong Tan holds a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
