Bridget Carberry Montgomery

Bridget Carberry Montgomery serves as a City Council Member and Mayor Pro Tem in Urbandale since January 2020, concurrently holding a commissioner position on the Executive Committee of DART. Since August 2021, Bridget has worked as a Service Learning Coordinator for West Des Moines Community Schools and has been an owner of multiple Orangetheory Fitness franchises since March 2014. Previous roles include candidacy for the Iowa House of Representatives in 2022, executive assistant at Bottom Line Impact, LLC, and a chair position on the Urbandale Plan and Zoning Commission. Bridget's extensive experience in urban planning includes serving as Senior City Planner for the City of Des Moines. Educational qualifications feature a Master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from Loyola Marymount University.
