Chad Shellmyer

Chad Shellmyer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both the sports and business sectors. Currently serving as the Assistant Golf Professional at Des Moines Golf & Country Club since September 2022, Chad also holds the position of Senior Consultant at NXGEN Payment Services, contributing expertise in electronic payment processing since July 2013. A dedicated official in high school basketball, Chad has been an Iowa High School Basketball Official since September 1996. Additionally, Chad coached 9th grade softball at Waukee Community School District from February 2021 to July 2023, demonstrating a passion for youth athletics. Previously, Chad held various roles including President of the Des Moines Officials Association and Manager at Urbandale Golf and Country Club. Educational background includes attendance at Iowa State University and Buena Vista University, along with a high school diploma from Ft Dodge Senior High School.
