Melissa Fernau

Melissa Fernau is an experienced professional in human resources and athletic training. Currently serving as an HR Advisor and previously as a Human Resources Generalist at DMOS Orthopaedic Centers since April 2022, Melissa has developed a solid foundation in HR practices. Prior experience includes working as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Cedar Valley Medical Specialists, where responsibilities involved providing athletic training services and ensuring athlete safety at a local high school from July 2013 to April 2022. Earlier in their career, Melissa held the position of Sales Associate at Gap Inc./Old Navy from October 2012 to March 2014. Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training/Trainer from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master's degree in Health Care Administration/Management from Kaplan University.
