Doug Garnett has been serving as the Director of Human Resources at Des Moines Water Works since September 2013. Prior to that, Doug worked as a Human Resources Officer at the City of Ames, Iowa, from July 2004 to September 2013. Before their time at the City of Ames, Doug held the position of Personnel Analyst at Polk County Government. Doug holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Iowa State University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Central College.
