Lindsey Wanderscheid

Lindsey Wanderscheid, PE, CEFP, currently serves as the Director of Engineering Services at Des Moines Water Works, overseeing a team of 22 staff in engineering activities and capital improvement planning for water treatment and distribution facilities. Previously, Lindsey held various leadership roles at Iowa State University, including Assistant Director of Utilities Production, where responsibilities encompassed plant operations, environmental compliance, and capital planning. With earlier experience as a Process Engineer at ADM and an Engineering Intern at Ispat Industries Ltd, Lindsey combines extensive expertise in engineering management and project implementation, supported by a Master’s degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Iowa State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
