Jennifer Palmer

Jennifer Palmer, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is a highly experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as the Human Resources Manager for Deschutes Public Library since April 2018. In this role, Jennifer manages HR operations, including recruitment, training, and employee development, while aligning organizational strategies with human resources objectives. Prior to this position, Jennifer held the title of Director of Human Resources at Advantage Dental from DentaQuest, where responsibilities included overseeing HR, Learning & Development, and Safety functions. During a long tenure at Jeld-Wen, Jennifer progressed through various roles such as Director of Human Resources, Employee Relations Manager, Health Benefits Operations Manager, and Wellness Manager, contributing significantly to employee relations, benefits management, and wellness initiatives. Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and Industrial & Labor Relations from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Nevada, Reno.
