John J. Volpe

John J. Volpe possesses extensive experience in the natural gas industry, currently serving as Supervisor of Gas Supply Instrumentation and Regulation at Eversource Energy since August 2022. In addition, John has been an Operations Training Specialist at d'Escoto, Inc. since February 2020. Prior to these roles, John worked at Southern Company - Nicor Gas for almost 18 years, where responsibilities included leading system operations and managing the installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas distribution facilities. John's earlier experience includes positions as Senior System Controller at AGL Resources - Nicor Gas and Pressure Mechanic at Northern Illinois Gas Company, focusing on customer facility design, installation, and high and low-pressure gas main repairs. John's career began as a Meter Reader at Northern Illinois Gas Co. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from Elmhurst University.
