Shannon Toomey

Shannon Toomey has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Most recently, they worked at Descript as a Senior Manager of Recruiting and was previously a Lead Technical Recruiter. Prior to that, they held positions at VSCO, including Recruiting Manager, Senior Recruiter, and Technical Recruiter. Before joining VSCO, Shannon worked at Dropbox as a Senior Technical Recruiter, Technical Recruiter, and Technical Sourcer. Shannon also gained experience at Google as a Technical Sourcer and at Microsoft as a Technical Recruiter in University Recruiting. Additionally, Shannon worked at Siren - Socially Evolved in marketing and social media, as well as at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County as an Education Director. Shannon began their career as a Disney College Program Intern at The Walt Disney Company. Throughout their various roles, Shannon has demonstrated skills in recruiting, talent sourcing, diversity and inclusion strategies, partnership development, and program management.

Shannon Toomey completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Services and Rehabilitation from Western Washington University, graduating between 2009 and 2012.
